The architectural solution “Facciata Libera” by Oikos Venezia entered the yearbook ADI Design Index 2016 and it will compete for the Compasso D’Oro 2018 prize. In the meanwhile, you could see a preview of the product in an exhibition that will be held till 11th October at Palazzo dei Giureconsulti in Milan and from 28th October to 1st November at Ex Cartiera Latina, Sala Appia in Rome.

Let’s discover the product:

“Facciata Libera” is a new architectural solution that involves the insertion of the security door in a continuous façade, without any visual element like handle, profiles and locks. The wall is perfectly free and the door is completely integrated in the living space. The absence of a handle is obviated by the electronic lock system Arckey, which allowed the servo-assisted opening through a mechanical arm. It is controlled directly from your smartphone through the Oikos Tech application that allows you to manage the door and control the accesses.

“Facciata Libera” has been selected among many qualified competitors. The products presented were 907 but only 279 were selected for the new ADI Design Index, a prestigious selection of the best Italian design goods and services.
