Yes, Oikos is the first and only company to manufacture an armoured sliding door. It is called  Vela and it combines technical performance with a design concept and aesthetic value. It is therefore also a prestigious element of any interior design, adding value to the context where it is placed.

The guarantee for Oikos’ armoured doors can extend to 12-15 years for some types of outdoor coverings. Oikos guarantees an after sale service through its network of sales team across the country, so guarantees apply either through you purchase point or through a referenced technical centre. The latter have specialist and additional training for this purpose. A particular service offered is the security of the key: copies of the keys of the “protected” type of doors are manufactured directly in the company on exclusive profiles, thus guaranteeing maximum security for the user and control over the delivery of the key.

Oikos has always believed in certifications. And it can proudly quote its many prestigious certifications. The compliance with EU regulations on external doors is a fundamental requirement. The doors are also certified by the  External Certification Body IFT, based in  Rosenheim, Germany: anti-burglar certified in Class 3 and 4 according to the standards set out  in product quality regulation UNI ENV 1627 for security doors and windows.
This certification covers, in addition to anti-burglar, noise insulation (noise insulation extendable up to 45dB), heat insulation (maximum value that can be obtained with the thermal kit upon request: U = 0,71 W/m²K), Air 4 - Water 5A - Wind C5, Fireproof (EI 30, EI 60, EI 90).

Oikos has the voluntary certification UNI EN ISO 9001, a quality certification which was awarded to Oikos 10 years ago. This certification guarantees the company’s constant commitment to improve production processes for the mutual advantage of the company, its clients and suppliers. 
5 years ago, the company was awarded the voluntary certification UNI EN ISO 14001 about environment protection, which guarantees the company’s compliance of all legislation on emissions in the atmosphere, water discharge, noise emissions, registered and controlled waste disposal, energy saving, the improvement of production cycles and the reduction of waste.  In order to prove its attention to environment protection, Oikos proudly obtained the FSC marking which identifies the origin of wood from forests that are responsibly and correctly managed according to the strictest social, environmental and economic standards. 
The company is guaranteed and certified also for its use of paints, which are completely free of toxic synthetic solvents. On a par with what is set out by regulation EN 71-3 which regulates “safety of toys” on the materials and colorants employed. Oikos uses water-based paints with a consequent substantial improvement of the working environment, and a reduction of the company’s impact on its surrounding areas, as well as a greater quality of the product supplied to the customer. In addition to the requirements of EN 71-3, it uses Adler water based paints.
