In 2010 Oikos will celebrate 20 years of its foundation. The company designs, produces and tests its own armoured doors in Italy in its factory in Gruaro (Venice), across an operational area of 7,000 sqm, which is divided in three departments: Mechanical Workshop, Carpentry and Assembly Department. It is this highly skilled human resource, working in the production, technical, administration, marketing and commercial department which allows the company to offer a product the market recognises as the leader of the top quality sector.
Our products are anti-burglar certified in Class 3 and 4, sound proofed, insulated from heat, air, water and wind. All production phases take place in the company and this is a major positive aspect in the production of unique armoured doors; entirely Made in Italy, with design details and sophistication.
Quality and usability are the result of our 20 years of company history and experience in handmade craftsmanship, with technological research, an accurate design focus and the capacity to select the many materials which combine to produce a door that is long lasting and reliable across time.
What makes Oikos stand out from others, is the capacity to customise all of its available wide range: this unique capacity allows architects, who usually have a macro vision of the project, but also interior designers to satisfy any conceivable design requirement.
Ever since its foundation, Oikos has taken part in the industry's most prestigious international fair MADE (formerly SAIE), launching a new product at each exhibition, to show the world that continuous product innovation is part of Oikos DNA.
In 2007 Oikos became a member of Federlegno Arredo, an association which is part of Confindustria.
From the outset to the present day Oikos products are now an integral part of the home of more than 150,000 families. Oikos products are distributed in Italy by around 300 retailers covering the entire country.
The company's drive toward international trade now takes into all European and main international markets.
